TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is there for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform your assessment.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
